Santini’s research continues the attempt to find the elements and the syntax of a constructive criterion of representation of reality and does so by using forms and materials of a sort of personal and autobiographical archetypal and symbolic “syllabary” capable of narrating the time and of the matter.

Stefano Santini studied History of Contemporary Art at the University of Padua and established himself with works resulting from research aimed at revealing the ability of materials and figures to give shape to time suspended between waiting and changing. The visual themes thus evoke the stop, the wind, the earth and those voices that come to mind from the visual experience.
